One Thing That Could Improve Your Credit Report

What if I told you that you could take a simple action to improve your credit report??

Well, I’d have to ask 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧’𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗔 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘? You’re probably asking “W𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙤 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙢𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 750?”

I’m here to say..𝙄𝙏 𝘾𝘼𝙉 𝙈𝘼𝙆𝙀 𝘼 𝙃𝙐𝙂𝙀 𝘿𝙄𝙁𝙁𝙀𝙍𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀.

Your name is an identifier. Interesting thing is that the credit bureaus will report your info, but the info is not always correct.

There are two ways to remove items. The information has to be 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 or 𝗨𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲.

My name is 𝗞𝗬𝗟𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗪𝗔𝗡 but my report had my name listed as 𝙆𝙇𝙔𝙀 𝘾𝙊𝙒𝘼𝙉 and 𝙆𝙔𝙇𝙀 𝘾𝙊𝙒𝘼𝙉𝙎. And guess what..the two variations prove as inaccurate so any items with those spellings have to be removed..by law!!!

So here are three steps you can take right now:

1️⃣ 𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡𝗟𝗢𝗔𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧- right now, you can get your free report from all three bureaus from freeannualcreditreport.com every 7 days due to COVID-19. Look over information (names, addresses, employers)

2️⃣ 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢- Call or send a letter to each credit bureau and remove additional names, addresses, and employers. We want to look stable to the banks. This is huge, especially if your are a “junior” or have any suffix to your name as a result of family lineage.

3️⃣ 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗦- if you see accounts with errors like your name misspelled, request the items be removed. An example is a student loan stated it was opened in 1979 in my name…but I was born in 1985. Can you say “DELETE”? LOL
